I am Michelle, and I am the founder & formulator of Ataji Hair Care. Like many people of African and Caribbean descent living in the UK, I struggled to easily find products that worked for my hair and my daughter's hair. 

So I started to experiment, but I found the more I learnt, the more questions I had! I then enrolled myself in courses that taught me how to formulate from scratch. I now hold two diplomas in skin care & hair care formulations, with a distinction in ingredient theory!!

With my new found knowledge, I started making all kinds of products. Not just for me and my girls, but anyone who would let me experiment on their hair, and got amazing results!! Ataji Hair Care was born.
